Engine Diagnostics
Today's cars are more advanced than ever before. While they get better fuel economy with lower emissions they are in essence the same old internal combustion engine design with a few tweaks here and there. Technicians from days long ago struggled to diagnose the internal combustion engine then. Well today we have the same struggles as they did back in the good old days but 10 times or more worse. Every year car designs radically change for performance and tighter emission standards. The need for training is more important than ever before and the need for more tools likewise.
It has never been a good idea to guess what’s wrong with a car, parts cost more and are tougher to get to. Its only wise to have a shop such as ours that has invested the time and money into training and tools to properly diagnose your car . Think of all time and money that gets wasted on some backyard mechanic or bad shop for that matter just throwing parts under the hood at your expense. All the electronic sensors in the parts store won’t fix a car that has an engine problem. If you don’t have a solid background to know what to look for you are just throwing the dice and hoping you get lucky.
More often than not we have an idea where to go with your vehicle within an hour, so we see it as a worth while investment . Think of it this way and I have seen it a hundred times. Would you want someone to put $500.00 worth of parts on your car to find out it has a bad engine. If you found out you had a something major wrong for an hour diagnostic fee you have the option of deciding whether the car is worth fixing. Try taking back all those parts you just had installed under your hood and it hits home how much of a waste of hard earned money it really is. When that part is put on, you cant return it.
Diagnostics is worth it weight in gold at the right shop and we know from our experience your on the right path here!
